　　星巴克中國4月27日宣布與(yu) 紅杉資本中國基金達成具有突破性意義(yi) 的戰略合作，共同助力中國科創領域的蓬勃發展。

　　Starbucks announced on April 27 a strategic partnership with Sequoia Capital China to tap into Chinas growing technology landscape。

　　通過這一合作，星巴克將攜手紅杉中國開展戰略投資，在新生代餐飲和零售科技方麵進行商業(ye) 合作，合力加速星巴克中國的數字化創新步伐。

　　Through the partnership， Starbucks will make strategic co-investments with Sequoia Capital China， and commercial partnerships with next-generation food and retail technology companies to propel Starbucks digital innovation in China。

　　在未來雙方的戰略合作中， 星巴克將積極探索零售業(ye) 務各個(ge) 層麵的數字化創新機會(hui) ，憑借數據化分析、建模和決(jue) 策能力，尋找創造性的解決(jue) 方案。

　　Through the partnership with Sequoia Capital China， Starbucks will explore opportunities to embed digital technologies across all dimensions of its retail business to harness the power of data-driven analytics， modelling and decision making。

　　These may entail adopting creative solutions to enhance front- and back-of-house operations， such as the use of machine learning and predictive intelligence tools in managing Starbucks growing retail operations in China， or the optimization of Starbucks supply chain through precise， real-time inventory management。

　　Virgin Atlantic Is Searching Outside Investors

　　維珍航空發言人日前向CNN商業(ye) 頻道證實，該公司目前正在探索與(yu) 外部投資者合作的方案。

　　The airline is now exploring options to work with outside investors， a Virgin Atlantic spokesperson confirmed to CNN Business recently。

　　華利安國際投資銀行已被任命負責搜尋工作，重點關(guan) 注私人投資者。

　　Investment bank Houlihan Lokey has been appointed to lead the search， with a focus on private investors。

　　A group of leading companies from multiple industries has formed People + Work Connect， an employer-to-employer initiative that brings together companies laying off or furloughing people due to COVID-19 with those companies in urgent need of workers。

　　People + Work Connect was designed by CHROs from Accenture， Lincoln Financial Group， ServiceNow and Verizon—and Accenture built the platform。
